lyrics

If I had a thousand bottles
I’d drink them all
If I had a thousand empties
I’d break them

Gonna drink me a river
Drink wine ’til I’m blind
Gonna pave me a road
That’s sharp and that shines

I try to do what’s right
At least in my eyes

If I had thousand chances
I’d blow them all
A thousand choices to make
I’d take none

‘Cause with low expectations
You won’t be let down
I’ve learned to deal with
The stains and the tears in this gown

I try to do what’s right
At least in my eyes
